Weather permitting: Broad St. is scheduled to be paved this year. Work is scheduled for early to mid September, 2010. There will be some water shut offs between midnight and 5am during some weeknights. If you have special needs, please call City Hall at 530-265-2496. Office hours are Monday-Friday,; 8a-5p.
The road will be re-paved from Union St. up to the location where Commercial St. meets with Broad St. Part of S. Pine will be paved as well. Actual paving work should be limited to 5 working days, with most work to be scheduled at night. Weekend work will be avoided. During the construction period, Broad St. will be open during the day for business. Prior to the paving, there will be work done on the curb and gutter on York St., including some service changeouts.
