Training Classes

For those interested in being a certified lifeguard the following certificates must be obtained,
Lifeguard Training/First Aid
CPR/AED for Lifeguards
First Aid for Public Safety Personnel (Title 22)
Administering Emergency Oxygen (A City of Nevada City requirement)

The City of Nevada City, in cooperation with the City of Grass Valley will be providing Lifeguard Training classes.  The flyer below describes each of the trainings available for new lifeguards and those who need to re-certify.  If you have questions about the trainings or registration, please call Nevada City Parks & Recreation at 530-265-2496 x129.
