Facility Rental Information

The Nevada City Parks & Recreation Department manages several facilities for use by organizations, businesses or individuals. If you are planning an awards ceremony for your organization or a birthday party for your child, one of the City facilities will be the perfect match for you. The rental fees are reasonably priced, the facilities are conveniently located near downtown Nevada City and decorations are optional because of the simple style of these facilities.

Party/event planning tips

Insurance
Proof of insurance is required from all Renters. Insurance must be provided on an Acord Form, in the amount of $1,000,000, naming the City of Nevada City as additional insured. Proof of Insurance must be provided at least 30 days prior to the rental date.
For private events, the insurance can generally be requested through the renter's home owner's insurance agent. Fees may apply. If you do not own your home or want to compare rates, there are places online that insurance can be purchased. One possible website is www.eventhelper.com
