2014 Summer Programs

The 2014 Summer Program Guide is ready.  View the Guide for information about aquatics programs and summer camp activities.  There is additional information on the Swimming Pool page and the Summer Day Camp page.

Registration for Summer Programs
You have 3 options for registering. Please read this information carefully!

1. Register online.
The link to register online will be available on this page beginning May 1, 2014.  Online registration will only be available May 1-29.   Online registration is for swim lessons, Junior Lifeguard and Summer Camps only.  Registering online will require a credit or debit card and internet access.

2. Come to one of the registration nights.

When: May 5, 12 & 19, 2014
Time: 6-8pm
Where: Nevada City Pool at Pioneer Park

We may need to enter each registrant into the online program, so this could be a slow process. But if you have questions or do not have internet access, this is a great option for you.  This is also the time to get registered for Private Rentals, a Birthday Party, or any other items that are not available through the online registration program.

3. Mail your registration form to City Hall.
This option is not recommended as all paperwork and payment has to be taken to the swimming pool for processing.  However, if this is the best option for you, please note that any registrations received at City Hall will be processed at the Monday night registration nights as staff have time available to do so. There are no recreation staff available at City Hall to answer questions if you come in to drop off your registration.

4. Register at the swimming pool during hours that we are open to the public.  Opening day is May 31, 2014.

Summer Camp & Activities Fair

When: May 3, 2014
Time: 10a-2p
Where: Nevada City Veteran's Building; 415 N. Pine St.

The Summer Camp and Activities Fair is returning for the 3rd year.  This Fair is a great patnership with Parents' Resource Guide and has been such a hit with parents and program providers.  Last year, we had over 300 people attend the Fair to learn about summer activities for their children.  Currently we are accepting registration forms and fees from vendors who would like to participate in the fair.  Visit our Summer Day Camp page for more details.
