The Planning Commission is a citizen group appointed by the City Council. They are tasked with
taking action on discretionary land use proposals and architectural review applications. They also
make recommendations on land use policy changes and on design and land use aspects of City
projects.
Meetings
Planning Commission meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of each month starting at 1:30 PM in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 317 Broad St. in Nevada City.
Agendas are posted outside City Hall, 72 hours before the scheduled meeting. Agendas and Minutes will also be posted on the
agendas and minutes page along with videos of each meeting. Commissioners do not have offices in City Hall, but if you would like to communicate with them, pleaes leave messages for them at City Hall.
